In dark times, our ancestors gathered around the hearth fire to receive blessing stories and experience connection. It’s easy to feel alone when the veils grow thin and the unknown becomes a constant companion.

To gather around the fire is an invitation to look into the mirror at what’s alive within—and to be enlivened by the fire in our bones.

We long for light in the darkness, forgetting it’s alive and well at the center of us. There’s a powerful, ancient tool that mends the tears inside the fabric of us—stories are strong remedy—helping us create space for the stories we ourselves are already living. I’ll be sharing three medicine stories for the cycles and rhythms we’re in each month—the story might shift according to what my helping spirits deem best at the time. We will engage in our own writing practice and ritual. No experience in either is necessary—only the willingness to let medicine soak into your beautiful heart.

Join me at the hearth fire during the next three months to remember ourselves back to what wants to live and thrive amongst the release and dying cycles of this time of year. I am casting a wide, sturdy, sacred circle to lean into as we let go of this year and move over the threshold into the next.

These three sacred retreat afternoons will be an opportunity to retrieve and be infused with light and life force, uncovering your own sovereign medicine story so that you can be attuned to your instinctual nature, your wild desire and life-giving inner sparks, welcoming the grace knocking at your door.

We’ll be working with three stories from Women Who Run With the Wolves by one of my beloved teachers, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, from whom I have had the great good fortune to learn, including receiving direct instruction about how to bring the teachings from this great book forward and into the lives of those who wish to receive its potent and enduring messages. We will gather virtually on Zoom.

These three dates will be an opportunity to receive ceremony and includes experiential, sacred rituals. Additionally, during the weeks in between our time together, I’ll provide ways to integrate and practice ritual on your own, and keep our hearth fire bright and strong.

Together, we will tune our ears to the center of our wildest knowings, weaving soulful connection and gathering remedy from deep within the fire of our bones.
